Privileges Required to Use SAP IBP Connections 1.x

To use IBP Connection, you need one of the following:

  • scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role.
  • scheduler-user or redwood-login role in combination with the following system-wide, Partition-wide or object-level privileges.

Built-in Roles

  • The scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator built-in role provides full control over all IBP connections.

Creating, Modifying IBP Connections

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to create and modify IBP connections:

  • View - on Partitions GLOBAL and IBP.
  • View - on Application IBP.Redwood_IBP.
  • View - on the existing IBP Process Server and Queue, if applicable.
  • Create - on Process Server and Queue if a new Process Server and Queue are required.
  • Either:
    • Create - on credential in the IBP Partition if a credential needs to be created.
    • Edit - on credential in the IBP Partition if a credential needs to be modified.

Using the IBP Component

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to use an IBP connection:

  • View - on Partitions GLOBAL and IBP.
  • View - on Application IBP.Redwood_IBP.
  • View - on Redwood_IBP library.
  • Submit - on Process Definitions IBP.IBP_ImportJobTemplate, IBP.IBP_ShowTemplates, IBP.IBP_SubmitJob, and/or IBP.IBP_Template (depending on the functionality you want).
  • View - on the Process Server of the IBP connection.
  • JobAdministrator - on the Queue of the IBP component.
  • View - on credential in the IBP Partition or on the credential to use.

Deleting IBP Connections

  • View - on Partition IBP.
  • Delete - on credential in IBP Partition.
