Privileges Required to Use the SAP Analytics Cloud Connector

To use the SAP Analytics Cloud Connector, you need one of the following:

  • scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role.
  • scheduler-user or redwood-login role in combination with the following system-wide, Partition-wide or Object-level privileges.

Built-in Roles

  • The scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator built-in role provides full control over all SAP Analytics Cloud Connections.

Creating and Modifying SAP Analytics Cloud Connections

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to create and modify SAP Analytics Cloud Connector Connections:

  • View - on the GLOBAL and REDWOOD Partitions.
  • View - on the GLOBAL.Redwood.GLOBAL.SAP.REDWOOD.AnalyticsCloud Application.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloud Extension Point.
  • View - on the existing SAP Analytics Cloud Connector Process Server and Queue, if applicable.
  • Create - on the Process Server and Queue, if a new Process Server and Queue are required.
  • View - on EXTObjectRefs.

Using the SAP Analytics Cloud Connector

You need all of the following privilege ranks to be able to use this Connector:

  • View - on the GLOBAL and REDWOOD Partitions.
  • View - on the GLOBAL.Redwood.GLOBAL.SAP.REDWOOD.AnalyticsCloud Application.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloud Extension Point.
  • Edit - on SACConnection. This Object is modified when the token gets updated.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloudConnectionConstraint Constraint Definition.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloud Library.
  • Submit - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloud_Publish Process Definition.
  • View - on EXTObjectRefs.
  • View - on the Process Server.
  • JobAdministrator - on the Queue.

Deleting Application Jobs Connections

  • View - on the GLOBAL and REDWOOD Partitions.
  • View - on the GLOBAL.Redwood.GLOBAL.SAP.REDWOOD.AnalyticsCloud and REDWOOD Applications.
  • View - on the REDWOOD.Redwood_SAPAnalyticsCloud Extension Point.
