Privileges Required to Use Partitions

To use Partitions, you need one of the following:

  • The scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role
  • System-wide permissions
  • Object-specific privileges

Tip: To create a role that lets you see all objects in a Partition, right-click the Partition and choose Create view-only role.

Creating Partitions

To create a Partition, you must have one of the following privilege ranks.

  • Create: Lets you create a Partition. When you create a Partition, you automatically get the All privilege rank on that Partition.
  • Edit: Lets you create, view, and edit Partitions.
  • Delete: Lets you create, view, and delete Partitions.
  • All: Gives you full control over all Partitions.

Editing Partitions

To edit a Partition, you must have one the following privilege ranks, either on the specific Partition or system-wide.

  • Edit
  • Delete
  • All
