  1. Latest release from browser vendor.
  2. On-premise only.
  3. OS version can be found in Managed Systems Tier 1 and 2.
  4. Supported glibc versions can be found in Managed Systems Tier 1 and 2. Requires SAP NetWeaver SDK libraries version 7.50 (32 or 64-bit, same as Platform Agent).
  5. OS versions can be found in Managed Systems Tier 1 and 2. Requires SAP NetWeaver SDK libraries version 7.50 (32-bit) and 2013 Visual C++ redistributable (32-bit).
  6. AIX on Power 64-bit no longer supported as a native SAP spool host, starting with version 9.2.6.
    Redwood System copy has been discontinued.

  1. Tier 1 platforms are recommended for new installations. New OS release date needs to be later than the product release date.
  2. Tier 2 platforms are not recommended for new installations due to manufacturer support level, age or market share. Long term, such platforms may degrade to Tier 3.
  3. Tier 3 platforms are no longer supported by their manufacturer. Redwood may be forced to discontinue support for these platforms when resources (hardware, software) are no longer available. Redwood will support these according to “best effort” only. Some features may be unavailable on these platforms due to lack of OS support.
  4. Any database.
  5. Support for creating and modifying SAP Mass Activities (SAP IS-U) parameter sets has been disabled until further notice. Exception: customers already using this in combination older transports can continue to do so.
  6. SAP Note 2786882 – SAP JCo 3.1 release and support strategy.

  1. Fontconfig must be available on Linux. Latest supported HotSpot JVM recommended for Java 11 and 17. For Java 8, latest OpenJ9 is recommended. Redwood does support the product running under JVM's from other vendors, but they are not tested by Redwood. If JVM-specific issues occur that are not reproducible on the tested JVMs, contact your JVM vendor for support.
  2. Fontconfig must be available on Linux.

Supported SAP Systems

  • ABAP stack 3.1i, 4.x, 6.x, 7.x - Redwood strongly recommends you always use the latest Support Package for each release.
  • SAP S4/HANA (public, private, cloud, and on-premises)
  • BTP (via Connectors such as SAP Cloud Integration and SAP Datasphere, and via the Connector Wizard)
  • JAVA stack (SAP Java Scheduler) 7.10 and later.

Supported SAP BusinessObjects Systems

  • SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.0, 4.0 patch 14
  • SAP BusinessObjects Data services 4.0 patch 2.1

Report types: Crystal Reports, Webi, Excel.
