About Objects

"Object" is a generic term used to describe Jobs, Workflows, and many other entities used by RunMyJobs.

Object Context Menu

The context menu that displays when you right-click an Object varies by Object type. However, the options below are displayed for most Objects.

Action	Description
Edit	Lets you edit the Object.
Edit Security	Lets you edit security settings for the Object.
Duplicate	Lets you duplicate the Object.
Delete	Lets you delete the Object.
Show permalinks	Shows the PermaLinks to this Object.
Export > Export	Lets you export the Object. Note that only custom Objects can be exported.
Export > Export with related Objects	Lets you export the Object and all Objects it references. Note that only custom Objects can be exported.
Promote > Promote to system	Lets you promote the Object to another RunMyJobs instance.
Promote > Edit further then promote	Lets you promote the Object to another RunMyJobs instance, but allows you to edit the Export Rule Set for the Object first.
