Downloading Generic Platform Agent Installers

If you want to install a Platform Agent on multiple computers, you can download a generic installer. Installers obtained in this way can be used to install multiple Platform Agents on multiple systems, whereas an installer created by a wizard can only be used to install a single Platform Agent.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Software.

2. Expand Download Platform Agents.

3. Right-click the applicable installer and choose Download from the context menu.

4. Copy the installer to the applicable computers and run it there. The server hostname will be used as the Process Server name, and if you are using Partitions, you will be prompted to select one.

Note: When you install a Platform Agent with a generic installer, you must configure it manually.
