Privileges Required to Use the PowerBI Connector

To use the PowerBI Connector, you need one of the following:

  • scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role.
  • scheduler-user or redwood-login role in combination with the following system-wide, Partition-wide or object-level privileges.

Built-in Roles

  • The scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator built-in role provides full control over the PowerBI Connector.
  • The scheduler-viewer built-in role provides read-only access to the PowerBI Connector.

  • View or any other rank - on the Redwood.REDWOOD.PowerBI Application.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBIDataflowConstraint.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBIDatasetConstraint.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBIWorkspaceConstraint.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBI_RefreshDataflow.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBI_RefreshDataflowTemplate.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBI_RefreshDataset.
  • View or any other rank - on Redwood_PowerBI_RefreshDatasetTemplate.
  • View or any other rank - on the Redwood_PowerBIConnector Process Definition Type.
  • View - on the component's Process Server.
  • JobAdministrator - on the component's Queue.
  • View - on the Redwood_PowerBIConnector library.
  • Submit - on any Process Definitions you want to use.
