Importing Process Chain Definitions

You import the definition of an imported process chain to be able to maintain restart-related properties of the process chain within Redwood Server. These properties are available on the Maintain Object dialog of the SAP system inside Redwood Server.

Process Definitions to use

The following Process Definitions allows you to import process chains and their definitions:

  • SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains - used to import the process chain to fill LOV's, allows you to also import the definition of the process chain which allows you to modify it.

Procedure

Importing an SAP Process Chain Definition

  1. Navigate to Definitions > Processes.
  2. Choose Submit from the context menu of the Process Definition SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains.
  3. Fill the fields and choose Submit.
  4. Choose Submit.

Example

  1. Navigate to Definitions > Processes.
  2. Choose Submit from the context menu of the Process Definition SAP_BW_ImportProcessChains.
  3. Select the SAP SystemPR1, Technical Name of SAP BW Process ChainOTCT_C2_INIT_P01, leave the other parameters at the default value.
  4. Choose Submit.
