Mail Module

The mail module lets you send emails from RunMyJobs. You can use it to alert operators or other users when (for example) a process reaches status Error or a new report is published.

The Mail Module includes two Process Definitions:

• System_Mail_Configure: For configuring the default mail server.
• System_Mail_Send: For sending an email.

Note: To use the System_Mail_Send Process Definition, you must have the Module.Mail license key.

Note: If you make extensive use of alerts and/or notifications, Redwood recommends the Active Monitoring module, because it lets you configure alerts and notifications centrally.
