SAP BusinessObjects

Redwood Server allows you to schedule the following SAP BusinessObjects report types:

• Crystal Reports
• Web Intelligence
  • Web Intelligence reports with parameters
• Data Services (Also known as Data Integrator)
• Retrieving Reports
  • Retrieving Crystal Reports Handling
  • Retrieving Web Intelligence Handling

You can also trigger SAP BusinessObjects Custom events from within Redwood Server, which in turn can trigger other reports inside SAP BusinessObjects.

Supported Versions

• Data Services 4.0 patch 2.1 or newer
• BOBJ XI 3.1 or newer

Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports can be scheduled directly or imported and then scheduled directly in Redwood Server much like SAP ABAP jobs, although the output of these jobs is not available from within Redwood Server.

You schedule Crystal Reports using the following Process Definition:

• SAP_BObj_ReportRun

Web Intelligence

Web Intelligence reports are imported and run like Crystal Reports, however, print parameters are not imported.

You schedule Web Intelligence reports using the following Process Definition:

• SAP_BObj_ReportRun

Note: The BusinessObjects connector ignores any transient errors that can occur during execution.

Data Services

You schedule SAP BusinessObjects Data Services using the following Process Definition:

• SAP_BObj_DataServicesJobRun

Triggering Events

You trigger SAP BusinessObjects events using the following Process Definition:

• SAP_BObj_TriggerEvent
