About Export Rule Sets

Export Rule Sets determine which Objects are exported into CAR archives. They can contain two types of rules:

• Export Rules: These create a dynamic list of Objects using various criteria.
• Export List: These are static lists of Objects. You can search for Objects using various criteria (for example, by Object type with an optional name pattern or last modification date) and add them to the list.

An Export Rule Set can contain both of the above, and it can contain multiple export rules. You can use the Preview tab to see a list of the Objects that will be exported with the current settings.

Note: Built-in Objects cannot be exported and will be discarded.
