Parameter Mapping

A Parameter is a named variable of a specific type that is associated with a Job or Workflow. You can use Parameters to map values from one Job Call or Workflow Call to another, and from a Workflow's Parameters to its Job Calls.

You can map Parameters within Workflows in a variety of ways:

• Workflow to Job Call.

• Workflow to sub-Workflow Call.

• Job Call to sub-Workflow Call.

• Job Call to Job Call.

There are two ways to map Parameters in a Workflow:

• Parameter Mapping via Job Calls. This method maps Parameter values from within Job Calls.

• Start and End Parameter Mapping. This method lets you map a Workflow's In and Out Parameters.

Note: You can map a Parameter to one or more other Parameters.

Deleting Parameter Mappings

To delete a Parameter mapping, hover the mouse over it and then click the icon.
