public interface CredentialParameter
extends NamedDetailObject, BusinessKeyObject

This will provide the parameters to search the password in the external vault, in case a Credential has a CredentialVault specified. Credentials may have their password stored in an external vault. In this case the CredentialVault field defines which external vault. These parameters are required when the CredentialVault and only allowed to exist, when it has a CredentialVault.

Method Detail

getValue

String getValue()

Get the value for Value. (The value of the CredentialParameter.) This value is mandatory, and therefore will not be null if this object has been retrieved from the database.

Returns:

the field

Throws:

ObjectNotAttachedToSessionException - This will be thrown if this method is called while the object is not attached to a session.

setValue

void setValue(String newValue)

Set the value for Value. (The value of the CredentialParameter.) This value is mandatory.

Parameters:

newValue - the new value for Value. If this is null, then the object cannot be persisted.

Throws:

ObjectNotAttachedToSessionException - This will be thrown if this method is called while the object is not attached to a session.

getCredential

Credential getCredential()

Get the Credential.

Returns:

Credential

Throws:

ObjectDeletedException - If this method is called when the object has been marked for deletion.

ObjectNotAttachedToSessionException - If this method is called when the object has been removed from its session.
