Monitor Screen Advanced Filters

If you turn on the Advanced Filters switch at the top of the Monitor screen, a dropdown list becomes available with the following filters.

Note: For this topic, it's important to understand the concept of Jobs.

Note: In this topic, a "child Job" is a sub-Job that is part of a Workflow. For example, when you run a Workflow, each Job Call generates a child Job.

  • All (Non-Maintenance) Jobs: This includes Jobs from definitions that do not have the Maintenance property set.
  • For the Last 24 Hours: This includes Jobs that have been scheduled to run over the last 24 hours.
  • For the Next 24 Hours: This includes Jobs that have been scheduled to run over the next 24 hours.
  • For a Window of 24 Hours: This includes Jobs that have been schedule to run between the last 12 hours and the next 12 hours.
  • For the Last 7 Days: This includes Jobs that have been scheduled to run over the last 7 days.
  • For the Next 7 Days: This includes Jobs that have been scheduled to run over the next 7 days.
  • For a Window of 7 Days: This includes Jobs that have been schedule to run between the past 84 hours and the next 84 hours.
  • In an Initial State: This include Jobs with a status of either New or Scheduled. It excludes standard or custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In a Pending State: This includes Jobs with a status of Workflowed, Queue Held, EventWait, LockWait, Queued, Dispatched, Assigned, or Canceling. It excludes standard or custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In an Active State: This includes Jobs with a status of Running, Waiting, or Killing. It excludes standard or custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In a Final State: This includes Jobs with a status of Skipped, Disabled, Ignored, Unknown, Completed, Error, Killed, or Canceled. It excludes standard or custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In a Console State: This includes Jobs with a status of either Restart or Console. It excludes standard or custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In a Console State (Include Child Jobs): This includes Jobs that have a status of either ConsoleRestart or Console. It excludes standard and custom maintenance Jobs.
  • In a Manual Intervention State (Include Child Jobs): This includes Jobs that have a status of Never, Overdue, ConsoleRestart, Held, Modified, Console, or that has an Operator Message as well as any child Jobs of the process. It excludes a standard and custom maintenance process.
  • In a Manual Intervention State: This includes Jobs that have a status of Never, Overdue, ConsoleRestart, Held, Modified, Console, or that has an Operator Message that requires a reply and has not been replied to. It excludes a standard or custom maintenance process.
  • With Status "Error": This includes Jobs that have reached status Error.
  • With Status "Completed": This includes Jobs that have reached status Completed.
  • With Status "Overdue": This includes Jobs that have reached status Overdue.
  • With Status "Running": This includes Jobs that have reached status Running.
  • With Status "Never": This includes Jobs that have been scheduled to run more than 2 years in the future or for which the scheduling criteria cannot met (for example, there is no running Job Server capable of executing it in its Queue).
  • All Process Resolutions: This includes Jobs that have been scheduled and that have not yet started.
  • Not current master: This includes Jobs for which the Job Definition has changed.
  • Delayed in remote system: This includes Jobs that have been delayed in a remote system.
  • Custom Maintenance (Background) Jobs: This includes system (non-housekeeping) Jobs and Jobs from definitions that have the Maintenance property set.
  • Standard Maintenance (Background) Jobs: This includes standard housekeeping Jobs.

Note: Child Jobs are usually included in these filters if they have an ancestor that matches the filter. The only exceptions are filters in a Console state or in a manual intervention state.
